so, my hardy dog of 16 yrs is going to be put down this saturday

there's some things i want to say about him, because i practically grew up with him. he's a smart and dumb dog and i love him, everyone in my family loves him. it's really hard to type this down and i'm trying hard not to cry and shit but... i'm ready, this has always been coming ever since we got diagnosis of his cancer and other problems and we tried super hard to pretend that he was alright, he was okay.

it doesn't make things any easier though. god.

i don't think i can ever handle another dog video at this point because it'll remind me too much of what my dog can't do right now: jump, run, do dumb things, be free. i'm extremely lucky and grateful that we made it this far tho. my dog's 16 yrs old right now and he's a lab. most labs don't get that old, right?

i'm sad that he's going, but i'm a bit happy because he won't be in pain anymore.
