Greetings!

I'm Sparky, one of the Executive staff members here; so if you have any problems at all, and don't want to disturb the mighty Admins, I'm here to help!

For those of you who have been around for a while, you may remember me from Eevee's Headquarters, the predecessor to Route 50 - but if not, don't sweat it! Not everyone's been around as long as I have - around five years as a proud member of the site for me, which not many people can top

Anyway, as for me as a person, I'm eighteen, from the UK and currently at college. I'll be off to uni this September (assuming exams go well!). And I suppose if you want to know anything more, just ask; I'm always up for a friendly chat!

(Belated) Happy New Year

So, another year down.

I must admit, it has been an interesting year - both for Rt 50 and for me. A lot of changes. College is still going well, though I'm currently stressed due to four crucial exams over the next two weeks.

On a happier note, all my university applications have gone through and I now have offers from all my unis. Cambridge included :D

So yeah. I'm determined to get the grades this year - I have an offer from the best university in the world, I'll be damned if I'm going mess it up now.

I'm ever so slightly scared right now.

For any of similar age to me, you'll probably understand why. University. More specifically, uni applications. Yeesh, scary times. I mean, I've sent all my stuff off; I'm predicted good grades, got great references from my tutors, but still, it's nervewracking. Just waiting.

One year down.

Got my AS results this week. It's surprising how important a single slip of paper is to the future. Seems like every year it's just building up to the next - last year I'd be waiting for GCSE results, to see if I'd get into college; this year, it's AS results that determine whether I get offers for university (and from which ones, at that). And then next year, it's A2 results that determine whether I get into the university of my choice. And each time it's more of a struggle - ...

Yes. I live - in a vague sense. My exams are finally over, and I get a week of freedom as exam leave continues. Thus, this means I know have free time. Time to stab people in the Renaissance!

Yeah, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood is now my focus for the next few days. I sometimes worry that I unwind by stabbing people, but that's perfectly normal. Right?

Well, a belated Happy New Year to all!

College is in full swing for me once more - my first proper exam on Monday, but nothing to strenuous (one hopes). The days are starting to get longer, though it is horrible still arriving at college before the sun has risen.

Well then.
It appears Christmas is approaching swiftly, and with it, the end of another year. I think this has been a year of seismic shifts for me in some way: the step up to college, the beginning of Route 50 and the end of EHQ; all of these things have probably affected me in more ways than I care to admit.

Well, Happy Halloween all!

I must say, I haven't really been a big fan of Halloween. Well, trick or treating isn't so big out here in the UK, so yeah. But this year, I have been participating in Halloween a little more than usual (Points at I.D. And yes, the pumpkin atop my head is the Horseless Headless Horsemann's Head, as featured in Team Fortress 2, in the unlikely event anyone recognises it.)
