Seriously my life would be so much less happy if birds weren't a thing. The floof keeps me going.

Lizard ownership is so full of joy

You know that feeling when you're a good friend and a friend of yours likes eevee, so you want to get her a shiny eevee for your birthday. And whadya know, someone else who you don't necessarily hate happens to have one, all you have to do is draw them a thing.

And then you spend way too long on the thing. Because you're a good person I guess. Idk. All I know is that maybe or maybe not, while working on this thing, you may have hypothetically been sad when you had to go do something else because you want to finish the thing!

I've been spending entirely too long drawing a glorified bowling pin with legs and a tail to get a not-even-legit eevee for someone else.

Anyways small pleasure: I'm taking a break from drawing to help my mom make blueberry cake and it's gonna be very tasty

So now that I have obtained my chatot, I'm playing Moon, right? I currently have a rowlet and a pikipek. And this whole time I've just had a really stupid idea.

What if I try to beat the game with nothing but birds?
If I could transfer over a fletchling, maybe it wouldn't be too bad...
If nothing else I could just grind more and be higher level than gyms? This is the worst idea I've ever had but I really want to try

My cousin did a shiny hunting intervention last night. She said that if I don't take a break from chatot and play Moon soon, she's not going to give me any Starbucks gift cards for Christmas. :'l

She says I have a "sickening addiction." The sad thing is that she isn't wrong.

Every time I see a sentret or furret, I can't help but smile.

This will definitely change once I start my sentret hunt.

Me at the beginning of my hunt: I would really like a shiny chatot! Chatot is really cool and underrated, I adore birds, the shiny form is somewhat pink so pink bird = smol galah bb vibes, gosh I just love it I can't wait to have a shiny chatot I just adore them wow I'm excited I just love chatot

Me 6 months later, present day: I just need to get the damn bird so I can move on with my life

I feel like The Pokemon Company is trying to make Magikarp some sort of meme.

It's working.

Small pleasure: doing mundane, everyday things with someone you really care about. It's crazy how certain people can turn the simplest of activities into memories that comfort you for months, even years.

Update on my chatot hunt:

I had a dream about pokeradar/DexNav hunting??
I've never done either one of those hunts????
There were accurate rules and stuff in the dream??????

Life update: I have 30+ boxes of Chatot. This is absurd.
Also Toxi managed to take like an hour to find a shiny after maxing his odds with Pokeradar and it was hilarious.
