I was stuck in an orphanage. I was six months old, and nobody, including myself, knew how smart I would become. There, at the orphanage, I learned how to walk when I was 7 months old. A month later, I was adopted by a very nice couple. I said my first word a couple weeks after, and could speak when I was one and a half. My parents knew that I was smart, but not to what extent.

In preschool, every day was very boring to me. Althoug… continue reading

The Journey to End it All, Entry 12

The next morning, I was the first to wake up this time. So I took out my laptop and re-drew the rifle schematic so that it would be implemented in my suit and also turn into just a smaller, faster-firing handgun, and drew a micro-earbud, one for each ear so that I could listen to music. I first printed out the earbuds and put them in, and turned on my music. Then, I re-melted and re-printed the rifle, and reprogrammed my watch to activate only the rifle with a certain command. I also made a coup… continue reading

“Then kill the robot, break out of it.”

“One problem. The magic protects the robot itself. If you punch it, you hit a magic shield. And more of those easy-to-kill robots are coming,” said Cayden. “I think that if we kill enough of them, the giant robot will start using magic to make more, so it’ll waste all of its magical energy on creating them, and then we can get out of this robot.”

“M-geeks.” Gazzy smiled. “Someone have electric powers?”

“I do,” said Hazel.… continue reading

I was awakened by the loud commotion outside. I step out to see what’s happening and was blinded by the light. Avery was the first to notice me and said, “Well, look who’s up! I thought you’d never wake up. Everyone else already is.” Instinctively, I looked at her and immediately looked away.

“What’s for breakfast?” I asked, hungry.

“Leftover beef stew. I saved you some!” replied Avery. Seriously? Had [i]to be Aves. Either I'm just noticing because I can’t stom… continue reading

The Journey to End it All, Entry 9

I knew how to fly now. I mean, I could fly before, but this time with my wings. It’s even better than just flying, without wings. When we got to the next island, the one where your magical energy is sapped, I could feel it already, and we still had a quarter mile to go. As we got closer, I think that my life force was being sapped, because I continuously got more tired. Maybe I can shield it…? I used my brain and try my best to counteract the strange force pulling away at my life. I h… continue reading

The Journey to End it All, Entry 8

You would think that for me to fly, all I would need would be wings that are big enough, right? Wrong. For a human to fly, their entire body composition changes inside. I could feel my lungs expand, my body get lighter, my organs moving inside of me and some of them shrinking, to give space for the air pockets growing inside of me. Also, the wings. They just grew right out of my back, and they fit very tightly onto my back, and with a shirt on, it was impossible to see that I had wings. I smiled… continue reading
