I, as some know, am a soft drink connoisseur. I love soda. It is what I worship. Nothing makes me happier than a cold, dewy coke. In this thread, I will list out the "fizzy drinks" I like, when I like them, how I like them, and hopefully everyone else will do the same!
The first rule is that
nothing tastes good out of a plastic bottle. If at all possible, avoid plastic bottles. They are the scourge of soda, souring the taste and making it a cheap drink that it is not! "Fizzy drink" is a beverage meant for the gods.. it is meant to be enjoyed, and savored! It's not some caffeinated elixir to pour down your throat at 7:30 in the morning before class; it is a beverage with class and elegance, brought down by those who disregard its qualities.
Coca-Cola
Stored: Glass bottle, can. Cold & dewy (condensation/water droplets).
Served: Drinking glass with cube ice; in the glass. Preferably not can.
Pepsi
Stored: Can. Cold & dewy
Served: Drinking glass, cubed or crushed ice. Can acceptable
Doctor Pepper/Mr. Pibb
Stored: Tap (fountain drink)
Served: Paper cup with crushed ice, from the tap
Sprite
Stored: Can. Cold & dewy
Served: Drinking glass, no ice
Root Beer
Stored: Glass bottle. Cold & dewy
