- Navarr^adm completed the forum lightbulb system. Now you can see which parts of the forum are unread!

- Pushed the Navbar up to make space!
- Removed the bulky ad block, replaced with a smaller single ad & a "Friends Online" feature
- New Forum index

If you see any errors about.. don't panic. Wait a few seconds and refresh, and it'll probably be gone :)

The "Friends Online" box seems to break the balance of the top box, and it's not very useful...

Break the balance? You mean visually? Not sure how to fix that, lol.

Considering Route 50 is a large community, I'd say it's probably useful to a lot of people, but I guess it's not if you don't have a lot of friends added/aren't incredibly chatty. Do you have any suggestions for alternate content?

Normally, I see 4 friends online.
I think the friends box should be replaced with something that manages notifications, which is still useful for most people.

I liked how the number of notifications you had was displayed at the notifications icon. Now I don't know if I have any or not. Would it be possible to restore the original way of how it notified you, or came up with, say, a drop menu that told you how many notifications you had, and to go a step further, the most recent notifications too? I think that would benefit a lot more, and the drop box idea could be really handy too.

Maybe the 'friends online' can be ON the toolbar, and it shows a number by it like the Mail and Notifications. And when you rollover, it'll have a drop down list of about five of your friends, with links to their bases, and a little 'mail' button besides their name so you can click that to automatically have their name on the Mail form. And you can also click 'Show More' to show a new list of friends. :3

Ahh! I won't lie, this will take awhile to get used to. But don't worry, these changes seem like they'll be beneficial in the long run (; The outlining of the notification thing was a bit subtle, and I only just noticed it D: I like the new setup of the forum (is this an old change? I am so behind the times D; ), although I'm not quite sure why all the boards are always marked as read all the time for me :U

I guess I don't have enough friends, because none of mine are online lolwut. I can see how some people would think it looks unbalanced, but I'm sure once more of my friends get online it'll look a bit better.

I still want the red number box showing up when you have notifications, it's more visible.

I like the friends online thing :o! I think maybe we should add like....an easier way to add as a friend? like when you click on someones name have the option as well as go to the base option? Or the option on the base again? Yeah i'm lazy....and add in a notification when someone adds you? If there isn't one already?

For the 'Today's Top Posters' it would be nice to add a title attribute to the link and alt to the image so that when one hovers over the user's avatar it displays the username without having to click, and it's more accessible to those who typically browse with images off (I do most of the time. :D)

There's something about the user's online function that looks cool, but just looks a tad messy because there at least 2 usernames per row, which should probably be worked on a bit more to look less cluttered.

By the way, when is the website field on the postbits going to be updated to reflect on what we have on our profiles currently?

I'm definitely agreeing with Aurore and SHiNKiROU, I liked the numbers that popped up, and the friends online box is definitely very useful :D

The friends online function here. I was Facebook and looked to see who's online. Then it hit me.



I need more friends on my friends list here...
