Yep, that's three out of the four rules. Fourth is to always be certain of your target and beyond. If you miss, or if the bullet penetrates through the target, what else might get hit? Are you even aiming at the right thing? If you pull the trigger now, will the bullet ricochet in a dangerous direction? All things you have to consider before firing.

I broke that rule once. To this day, my grandfather doesn't know what punctured his tractor tire. I learned my lesson that day, and hope he never ever finds out.
