New year, new characters (or at least the first time I've set their role in my world in stone in a drawing).
Anton (left) is a gunsmith who focuses on, and prides himself on making guns as they were intended (...in his opinion). Every gun should be made exactly as the original blueprints mandate, they should be made with wood and steel, and modding them in any way is a waste of time, money, and above all else, an insult to the firearm. He outright refuses to believe that the firearms of more technologically advanced Décanese Republic have much better and more practical designs, believing that Vashuria (his homeland) is the best in that regard.
Rux (right, real name Runa) on the other hand treats all of her guns like toys and/or weird fashion accessories, choosing to pile as many attachments as possible on them, giving them gaudy paint jobs, among other things. She also expresses great interest in Décanese technology, taking stolen firearms to reverse engineer them to either create new guns or improve existing ones.
They both run a shop together, and while their vastly different personalities and interests conflict with each other, they still maintain a close surrogate family relationship.
(And while he hates to openly admit it, Anton agrees that Rux's antics does at least bring in more money.)
