"Pokemon to the Rescue!" is a very long and popular roleplay on Eevee's HQ. As of now, PttR is at a close. To commemorate more than a year's existence of roleplaying, I've been trying to summarize PttR. No, this is not mine or anything; this RP belongs to Sky and Frosti. Any questions? None? Good.`

Skyribbon the Shaymin is searching for clues about her sister, Meadow, who was taken by an evil scientist whose goal is to conquer the Pokemon world through mind control. She comes to a park, where she finds Rain the Vaporeon injured from a battle with the scientist's minions, and Rose the Vulpix. Like Skyribbon, Rose and Rain have lost siblings to the scientist. The three Pokemon decide to travel together. The next morning, Skyribbon runs into Leo the Shinx under attack from a pack of controlled Mightyenas. After helping to drive off the Mightyena, Skyribbon leads Leo to Rose and Rain. Leo mentions a sanctuary for Pokemon to the others, and they all agree to go look for supplies so that they can travel together to this sanctuary. Around this time, they run into Kamori the Skarmory, who is in pursuit of her rival, Twilight the Umbreon. Not too long after, a pack of Houndooms attack Skyribbon as she goes back out to forage. She retreats back to the group, just in time to see that Twilight doubled back to ask the group for shelter. With her help, the Pokemon put up a decent fight against the Houndooms. Skyribbon then lures the Houndoom pack far away from the group, and runs into Kamori fighting an Aggron. Skyribbon and Kamori team up and drive off the Aggron and the Houndooms with a combination of energy balls and slashes. Kamori admits to having admiration for Skyribbon, and decides to travel with her and the others. After Kamori and Skyribbon rejoin the others, the Pokemon all go out to forage for items once more. Rose comes across a trail covered with a treasure trove of supplies and equipment. At once, the others come running. Meanwhile, Komachi the sarcastic but witty Skitty is attacked by a Mightyena pack as she spies on the group. Skyribbon goes to Komachi's rescue, and the Skitty joins them. Around this time, a buneary under the scientist's control leaps out of the bushes and attacks the gang. Though thrown off by its intense cuteness, the five of them defeat the buneary. Later that night, Rose dreams of her brother, Scorch. The next morning, after a breakfast of apples, Leo, Skyribbon, and Rose start the long journey to the sanctuary in the west. One by one, Komachi, Rain, and Kamori awaken and follow them. As they travel, each of the Pokemon reflect upon their friends and family who were lost to the scientist. Part 2: Mysteries from Beyond Posts: #0241 - #0482 Komachi notices a bush shaking. Rose calls out, and Aisu the baby Articuno falls out of the bush with a broken wing from escaping from the scientist. Unlike the others, Aisu's parents were attacked and killed by enslaved Pokemon. Though afraid, young Aisu joins the group. With the day getting late, they decide to go stock up on some more supplies. Rose brings back berries, Kamori catches... seventeen Magikarp... (and then accidentally drops some on Skyribbon). She strikes a fire up, and grills the Magikarps. The hungry Pokemon eagerly eat Kamori's catch. Before they can move onwards, however, Twilight catches up to them, having overslept earlier. Skyribbon apologizes that they ate all the fish; however, Twilight doesn't mind, since she hates fish. While Kamori tries to digest the rest of the Magikarp, the others go to look for berries for Twilight to eat. As the Pokemon search for berries, however, a swarm of controlled Beedrills attack them. Skyribbon, Rain, and Leo all leap into action quickly, followed by Twilight and Komachi. During the course of the battle, Skyribbon's fur temporarily turns black and red, and she enters a blind, furious rage. The Beedrills target Rose heavily (as she, being a fire-type, would pose the greatest threat), stinging her repeatedly and continuiously and poisoning her. Fortunately, Rain is able to heal her with a pecha berry; however, Rose recovers just as Aisu too is poisoned. Aisu is stung even more than Rose is, and she collapses on the ground. Rose and Skyribbon both enter furious rages (I'm totally serious, read it :P) and quickly take down the rest of the hive. Aisu finds herself face-to-face with the ghost of her mother in the void between life and death, who has come to take her to the afterlife. At the same time, Komachi, Rose, Leo, Twilight, and Rain all fall asleep from exhaustion. However, Rose's dream somehow intertwines with Aisu's mind, and she too appears in the nether-world. She attempts to save Aisu, only for her own soul to be taken from her body. Meanwhile, Kamori returns to the others, and is horrified to find Aisu and Rose barely clinging to life. As Rose and Aisu struggle to return to their bodies, Skyribbon (the only one not to fall asleep) and Kamori debate on what actions they should take to save their friends. Eventually, Skyribbon uses Aromatherapy on Rose and Aisu, and heals them. Komachi, Leo, Twilight, Rain, Rose, and Aisu all awaken to find Skyribbon disposing of another group of controlled Pokemon. Kamori, Skyribbon, and Komachi (who awakens at the same time) are greatly relieved to find Rose and Aisu alive. Soon after, they return to sleep. That night, Rose is still able to see the souls of Pokemon around her in her dreams. She watches in horror as a mysterious shadow flies towards Skyribbon's soul. At the same time, a controlled Darkrai approaches the sleeping Pokemon. He enters Skyribbon's dream, and posesses the shaymin. Darkrai- in Skyribbon's body- wakes up Komachi, Aisu, Rose, Kamori, and Rain, with the intention of leading them into a trap so that the scientist can enslave them all, leaving Twilight and Leo behind in the rain. Rose realizes that Skyribbon is acting strangely when Darkrai makes a rude comment about oversleeping, but says nothing. Darkrai leads the group off towards a dense, dark forest (which is, unknown to the others, the home of the scientist), which increases Rose's suspicions greatly. While taking a break, Rain, Komachi, and Darkrai fall asleep. During this time, Skyribbon is able to take enough control over her body to shout for help. Rose hears Skyribbon's cry, and attacks Darkrai. Darkrai extracts himself from Skyribbon to fight Rose, which frees Skyribbon to join in against Darkrai. Together, Kamori, Skyribbon, and Rose drive off the Darkrai, who is forced to return to his master in disgrace. After Komachi wakes up, the Pokemon gather more food. Then Skyribbon, Kamori, and Rose all fall asleep, exhausted from their battle against Darkrai, leaving Komachi to stand guard during the night. Part 3: New Heroes Posts: #0483 - #0678 Out in the wilderness, a shiny Cyndaquail by the name of Torch is fleeing from the scientist. He comes across the group of Pokemon, surprised to find them so close to the darkened forest where the evil scientist lives. At that moment, Komachi notices Torch and approaches him, afraid that he might be a ghost. Meanwhile, an Eevee with a star over one eye and blue markings on her legs by the name of Moon wanders through the forest, searching for her brother. She, too, encounters the group. At this moment, all of the Pokemon are now awake to greet Moon and Torch into their ranks. While Skyribbon starts leaping onto the others' heads, Torch talks about his life being chased by the scientist. All of the Pokemon look to Torch to form a plan to fight the scientist, the journey to the place of safety now forgotten. Around this time, an Uxie named Knowledge, a Bayleef named Midori, and a Luxray (no relations to Leo) named Raijin all join the group as well. Around this time, Skyribbon runs into her sister, Meadow. As she feared, Meadow was taken by the scientist and brainwashed; Meadow also states that Rose's brother, Scorch, too has been assimilated. After taunting her sister nastily, the mind-controlled Meadow leaves. After finding out what passed between the two Shaymins, Rose declares that she will, despite what Meadow claimed, kill the scientist and save her brother. Meanwhile, Kamori, who had been sleepwalking (no srsly that's what happened) the whole time, wakes up and begs Skyribbon to fill her in on what had just happened. Naturally, Kamori is hungry and goes to look for food. Moon, Midori, Torch, Rose, and Skyribbon go foraging for berries and seeds, while Kamori goes fishing for Magikarp again. On their way back to their campsite, the Pokemon are attacked by a Crobat and a group of Golbats. Torch recognizes the Crobat as an enslaved Pokemon working under the scientist's command. Together, all the Pokemon fight the bats (Kamori for her fish, everyone else for their lives). As the battle drags on, Skyribbon notices that the bats have objects on their legs. She tells the others to aim for the objects. After their longest battle yet ends, the few surviving bats fly off, and the Pokemon stumble back to their campsite. That night, Skyribbon dreams of Meadow once more. Her sister now acts like her normal self, instead of as before, and begs Skyribbon to find and rescue her. Torch dreams of the evil scientist, who claims that Torch was once his Pokemon. Lastly, Rose dreams again in second sight, surprised to see a new soul appear nearby. Around this time, Koumori (yes, the THIRD name like that :P) the Zubat, the only one of the bats who was never brainwashed, flies towards them, astonished to find that the Crobat of her old flock was captured. The other Pokemon awaken, and Koumori is accepted into the group. Aisu wakes up at this time, surprised to see how their group has expanded so greatly. Midori, Koumori, and Torch introduce themselves to her (Midori does it by poking -.-). Meanwhile, Kamori, who was busy securing the knots on the Crobat, is debating whether or not she ought to light the Crobat on fire. Upon seeing Koumori, she decides that this is a bad idea. Rose asks Torch about his dreams; he briefly mentions that he had a strange dream, but does not elaborate. Midori cooks Kamori's fish over Torch's back. After all the Pokemon eat, Skyribbon and Rose want to continue the journey to the scientist's hideout. However, Moon, Torch, Kamori, Midori, Rain, and Knowledge are all exhausted, and the entire group falls asleep, except for Koumori. Part 4: The Collars Posts: #0679 - #0890 Sometime during the night, it starts to rain. Rose, Koumori, and Torch all take shelter under a tree, while Moon and Komachi play in the rain. Feeling a need to stretch out, Skyribbon goes for a short walk in place of a flight, as she does not have a Gracidea. However, a controlled Flygon attacks Skyribbon and attempts to capture her. Torch attacks the Flygon, and notices that the Flygon is wearing an object similar to the ones worn by the bats which attacked the group earlier. Torch defeats the Flygon and evolves into a Quilava. Koumori too notices the device and destroys it, which turns out to be a mind-control collar. The Flygon, now free from the scientist's control, flies off. Moon, Midori, and Koumori all congradulate Torch for evolving, though Midori starts to feel uneasy about Torch's increased fire power. Komachi starts to get envious of Torch's evolution, and expresses interest in going to look for a moon stone. At the same time, a Haunter sneaks up on Rose and posesses her, just as Darkrai posessed Skyribbon before. Skyribbon notices that Rose is acting oddly, and immediately realizes what is happening. However, without a Gracidea, Skyribbon is reluctant to confront the Haunter, and the Pokemon continue their journey. After a few minutes, Rose is able to rid herself of the Haunter on her own. However, the Haunter then flies at Torch and activates a device within Torch's body, releasing a mass of thick black tar-like goo all over the Quilava's body. The other Pokemon try to extract Torch from the tar-like substance. Finally, Koumori evolves into a Golbat and hacks away the goo from Torch's body until Torch is able to melt the rest off. Midori asks Torch why the scientist would go to such lengths to get at him, upon which Torch reveals his old relationship with the scientist. Despite the fact that he was once the scientist's first Pokemon, the others decide to still trust him; in fact, Moon starts to flirt with Torch. However, Torch starts to doubt whether the scientist is truly evil, and if the scientist's motives in trying to retrieve him are pure after all. Rose tries to reassure Torch that whatever happens, they (the other Pokemon) would be there for him. Off in the scientist's laboratory, a controlled Pachirisu with red fur named Denki overhears the scientist ranting at the Haunter and how it had failed to retrieve Torch. The scientist then orders Denki to go after the group. As he approaches the group, Komachi, Moon, and Skyribbon all sense that a Pokemon is approaching them. Denki jumps at Skyribbon, who had just located a Gracidea. Together, Midori and Skyribbon subdue Denki and pin him down. Denki calls for reinforcements, summoning controlled flocks of Fearows and Staraptors to his aid. However, Koumori breaks Denki's collar and the Pachirisu comes to his senses. Rose, Skyribbon, Midori, Koumori, Torch, and Komachi dispense of the birds easily. Soon after, Denki finds sap leaking from a tree. The other Pokemon all taste the sap and rest in the sunlight. However, Torch then notices two Charizards approaching. Torch recognizes one of the Charizards and insists on fighting it on his own, while all the others team up to take down the other Charizard. Denki uses super fang on the charizard, and is surprised to find that it is wearing steel armor. Torch uses flamethrower to melt the Charizard's armor and takes it down, but not before the Charizard calls for backup. Reinforcements arrive in the form of a Froslass and a Manectric. The Froslass uses an ice beam to force Skyribbon back into land form, while Denki attacks the Manectric and Koumori attacks the other Charizard. Aisu then attacks the Froslass and the Manectric with Ice Beams. Before she can finish off the Manectric, Aisu notices a Flygon approaching them. Rain mistakes the Flygon, Ryu, for another controlled Pokemon and attacks him. Meanwhile, the Froslass attacks Skyribbon with Smog, which allows the Shaymin to power up a Seed Flare and unleash it on the Froslass. Ryu and Rain continue to fight each other, while Torch and the second Charizard continue their duel. Aisu and Moon both go to Torch's aid. Koumori flies to Rain's defense, evolving into a Crobat in the process. Ryu, Koumori, and Rain resume fighting until Skyribbon intervenes and points out how Ryu does not have the characteristics of a controlled Pokemon. Ryu realizes that the others can act as valuable allies. He attacks the Froslass, finally killing her; then he attacks the Manectric and destroys its collar. The Pokemon then turn their attention to the Charizard, who pins down Torch. Rose tackles the Charizard, rescuing the Quilava. Torch then gives the Charizard a mortal, but not immediately fatal, wound. The other Charizard gets up, only to be sent crashing back down by Ryu. Moon then runs up to the Charizard and breaks his collar, freeing him. Part 5: Romance Posts: #0876 - #0978 While she rests, Rose dreams of Torch. Meanwhile, Skyribbon awakens to see Glamerous, another Sky Shaymin and a childhood rival of sorts. Glamerous mentions yet a third Sky Shaymin, Miles, whom she teases Skyribbon as being Skyribbon's "boyfriend." Skyribbon is both relieved and annoyed to see that Glamerous was not brainwashed by the scientist. After the others all wake up, Glamerous tells Skyribbon that she came to find out if Skyribbon was brainwashed. Relieved to see that Skyribbon is free from the scientist, Glamerous takes off with the others still wondering about Skyribbon's supposed "boyfriend". Aisu naively asks Skyribbon what a boyfriend is, and if she can "have one." This sets off Ryu, Rose, and Koumori laughing. Rose explains to Aisu what exactly a boyfriend is, which leads her to think about Torch again. Koumori jokes that Ryu ought to be Aisu's boyfriend, which sets off Ryu ranting at her. Rose intervenes, but Ryu and Koumori continue to argue. Aisu innocently suggests that Koumori and Ryu might be in love, which increases the emnity between the two. The whole time, Skyribbon listens with growing exasperation, feeling that love and infatuation are too much trouble to pursue. She reflects on how even Miles, who saved her life and vice versa countless times- including once from a moltres-, wasn't someone she was really in love with. At the same time, Torch listens with ignorance of what love really is, completely oblivious to the advances from Moon and Rose. The Pokemon continue their journey, with Rose, Skyribbon, and Moon in the lead. They come to the top of a hill, with the scientist's mansion in sight. Koumori collects reconnaissance, and informs the others that the scientist's mansion is too heavily guarded for a frontal assault. Rose suggests that Ryu, with his red eyes, could pass for a controlled Pokemon and sneak the others inside a crate. The others more or less agree to her plan. Denki remembers that all controlled Pokemon have collars, and suggests that Ryu wear his (Denki's) old collar. Around this time, a Jolteon named Jolt approaches them, and then spark-tackles Rose to get her attention. Annoyed, Torch tells Jolt that they're all trying to take down the scientist and can't afford in-fighting. Jolt apologizes, Rose forgives her, and Jolt is more or less accepted into the group. Torch asks Rose if she is okay, which leads Rose to wonder about Torch again... *ahem* Ryu puts on the collar and approaches the door. Jolt yells to everyone else that she hears something large approaching them. Denki quickly hushes her, while Torch goes to investigate the intruder. To his horror, the intruder is another pile of goo. The tarry slime crawls up a tree and lands on Torch. It secures itself around his neck and turns into a control collar. Now under the scientist's control once more, Torch attacks Jolt and the others. Rose, horrified to see that Torch is controlled once more, tries to destroy the collar. However, the collar is still composed of the tarry goo; not only does it NOT break, but it glues Rose to the collar. Torch, not recognizing Rose, throws her against a tree, which dislodges her from the collar. Rose and Jolt combine their attacks, zapping and melting the collar. Meanwhile, the real Torch finds himself trapped in the depths of his mind, watching helplessly as his friends fight him. Realizing that they need more power, Jolt calls Komachi to help. Jolt points out a Moon Stone nearby, which Komachi can use to evolve into a Delcatty. Rose tries to pass the moon stone to Komachi, but is trapped in another patch of goo (which was a false moon stone). Jolt grabs the real moon stone and gives it to Komachi. Together, Komachi and Jolt melt the goo off of Rose. With Rose now free, Komachi evolves into a Delcatty and attacks the controlled Torch again. Jolt gives Rose a key which she has carried for a long time, and which bears Rose's name. Meanwhile, the tar-like substance congeals into a Ditto. Komachi completely breaks Torch's collar, freeing him. Torch is disoriented and bewildered as he regains control of his body. Overjoyed that Torch is free, Rose notices that Torch's broken collar is collapsing into a ditto as well. She pounces on the collar-ditto, realizing that it must be one of the scientist's experiments, but reluctant to kill it. Torch notices the key that Jolt gave to Rose and calls Denki over to look at it. Denki identifies the key as one of the keys for the cages that the scientist kept the un-brainwashed Pokemon in. While Torch rests, Rose asks Denki about the Dittos. Denki suggests that they might not even really be dittos, and that the key with Rose's name might have been something that Rose's brother Scorch used to remember Rose by. Rose uses her second sight to look at the Dittos' souls, and discovers that they are not even living creatures. Now without any qualms about killing, Rose burns up the collar-ditto up completely. Aisu wakes up, apologizes for having slept through a battle again, and introduces herself to Jolt. Meanwhile, Ryu returns with a crate that could be used to sneak the other Pokemon inside. Torch apologizes to the others for having attacked them; both Rose and Moon try to flirt with him without seeming to. Torch then eliminates the other tar-ditto while Skyribbon, Ryu, and all the others gather around him. Before they can all climb into the crate, however, another tar-ditto attacks the group and affixes itself to Jolt. Rose, Torch, Koumori, and the others try to dismantle the collar, now backed up by the others. However, the controlled Jolt then bites Torch in the neck, and he collapses on the floor. The controlled Jolt begins to charge up a massive thunderbolt, but overcharges her attack, destroying the collar. Torch finds himself amongst the spirits of his dead parents, an Arcanine and a Typhlosion. His parents tell him to be brave and to protect his friends. Back in the waking world, Rose runs to Torch's side, continuing to lash out at Jolt as she pleads the fallen Quilava to stay alive. Skyribbon flies down towards Torch and bandages his neck with a pecha scarf. Jolt, now returned to her senses, apologizes for having caused such trouble. Finally, Torch awakens, still wounded but alive. Moon and Rose are both immensely relieved. Part 6: Pokemon to the Rescue! Posts: #0978 -#1010 Aisu and Ryu are worried at first to find Torch wounded. Ryu wonders if Torch is up to the mission up ahead, and Aisu suggests that Torch stay behind with another Pokemon. Moon's and Rose's feelings for Torch become very apparent when both of them volunteer to stay behind with him. Invitably (not inevitably), Komachi teases Rose and Moon for falling in love with Torch. Torch, however, is only annoyed by how the others fret over him, and insists on going with them. All of the Pokemon, except for Ryu, climb into the food crate. While they all wait for Ryu to start transporting them inside, Skyribbon uses Air Slashes to keep the air circulation flowing. Moon continues to glance at Torch. Aisu, Torch, and Koumori reflect on how their journey seems to be coming to an end. Around this time, Moon and Jolt notice a Squirtle outside. Rose climbs out of the crate to check out the Squirtle, Perry. However, Ryu begins to fly off with the crate at that moment. Aisu and Jolt try to get Ryu to stop; however, Perry takes matters into his own paws. He carries Rose to the top of a tree, and then jumps into the crate just as Ryu passes underneath with the crate. Meanwhile, a flock of controlled Starly attack Ryu in midflight. Rose, Moon, Komachi, and Aisu snipe each of the birds down through knotholes in the crate, and a female Nidoran named Sora leaps off of the back of one and into the crate. Torch is annoyed to see even more Pokemon joining the group, especially when one is a water-type. Feeling that since he was unofficially the leader, he ought to be allowed to decide who stays and who leaves. However, Skyribbon is grateful for the extra backup, recalling the battles with the Houndooms from a while ago. Finally, Ryu arrives at the mansion and drags the crate into the food storage room. As they land, Rose begins to feel affection for Perry, and starts to feel torn between Torch and the Squirtle. Hungry, Aisu scarfs down a pie in the box. Sora continuously tries to take charge, but no one listens to her, not even Jolt, which leads to Sora jabbing Jolt with her horn. Torch removes his Pecha Scarf, as it has been scorched countless times every time his anger flared up and thus is no longer needed. Perry, Moon, Jolt, and Sora reflect on their missing siblings. Moon inadverdently flirts with Torch (sorta), as does Jolt with Perry (again, sorta), infuriating Rose. After all of them are prepared, Denki leads the others out of the crate. At that moment, a Buizel and a Vulpix enter the room in pursuit of a weakened, shiny Vulpix. Torch recognizes the shiny Vulpix as Hidden, an old childhood friend. The other Vulpix approaches Rose. Rose recognizes him as Blaze, the leader of a gang that once took her in and tried to kill Rose when she ran away. Both Blaze and the buizel run off to go warn the scientist. Hidden tells Torch that she knew Torch was alive because she saw him in her dreams. At the same time, Moon sees a male Jolteon, who can only be her brother, Volt. She is greatly relieved to find Volt alive. Skyribbon and Koumori carry Moon, Rose, and Denki into the air vents. Torch wonders aloud why Rose and Moon both care about him, upon which Hidden points out what everyone else realized a while ago: they love him. Up in the air ducts, Rose detects loud sounds from below, which starts to make Moon worry. Torch and Hidden overhear Darkrai raiding the food storage. Hidden uses her illusory powers to disguise herself as an ordinary Vulpix, or in other words as Blaze. She then talks Darkrai into leaving the room. Meanwhile, the Pokemon in the ductways overhear what seems to be a group of off-duty guards playing cards. Rose and Moon run into Perry, Aisu, and a Flaaffy named Momoko. Denki investigates the card players to learn that the players are actually prisoners. He gnaws open a grate, and they lower themselves down into the cellblock. Moon rescues another childhood friend, a shiny Raichu named Bikkuri. Denki finds his sister and his cousin, two siblings of Torch, and two friends of Skyribbon. Komachi finds her own way through the air vents and enters another cellblock, this one containing her brother Komatsu and her sister Tsume. While Komachi tries to free her siblings, Rose finally stumbles upon the one cage she had come all this way to find: the one containing her brother, Scorch. Like the other captives, Scorch has been malnourished and mistreated. Unlike the others, he has completely changed. Rose uses the key that Jolt gave her to open Scorch's cage. She discovers that Scorch no longer has willpower, or emotions, or any memories of his past life. Scorch is only able to identify himself as "Experiment 113." As the Pokemon continue to free the scientist's captives, Rose wonders what horrors the scientist inflicted upon her brother. Part 7: It's Not Over Yet Posts: #1010 - #1232 Back in the storage room, Skyribbon waits for the rescuers to return from their adventures through the ducts. As Rose, Denki, Komachi, Aisu, Perry, Moon, and Momoko all return with the freed captives, Skyribbon is overjoyed to see that all her friends are free... except for her sister Meadow. At that moment, a controlled Umbreon attacks one of the captives, and Skyribbon attacks the Umbreon. However, the Umbreon fights back with an intense ferocity, and seems to be almost invincible. Torch awakens to find all his friends fighting the Umbreon, and somehow doing poorly. The Umbreon brutally kills Sora and Jolt. Torch tries to help his friends, but is overcome with a thick wave of nausea and cowardice. Finally, Torch uses Sunny Day, which restores his courage in the form of light and flame. Together, he and Rose defeat the Umbreon to find that it was nothing more than a phantom conjured from the depths of his mind. Denki and Torch start to practice combination attacks. Perry, vaguely scared of the phantom, runs off, which leads to Rose devoting all her attention to Torch again. Meanwhile, elsewhere in the complex, a Crocnaw, a Moltres, and a Buizel become aware that Skyribbon and Torch are both inside the building. Denki, Skyribbon, Rose, Torch, and all the others reflect on how their jouney has taken them so far, and brought them all so close together. Torch, Rose, Komachi, and Skyribbon all share their pasts with the others. Komachi talks about how her parents were killed and her siblings separated. Skyribbon talks about how Meadow was kidnapped. Rose talks about how she relied on Scorch so much after her parents were killed. Torch talks about how his siblings were taken by a Buizel and a Crocnaw after his parents were killed. As Koumori begins to share her story, Rose suddenly collapses. Torch and Skyribbon hurry to Rose's side. Around this time, Sierra the Charmeleon and Rukoto the Manectric run into the group and join them. Rose finds herself floating in the air as a displaced soul. Moments later, Skyribbon also collapses, her soul displaced from her body as well. For some strange reason, only Komachi and Hidden are able to see them. To Skyribbon's dismay, Hidden seems unwilling to help them. Torch makes an offhand comment towards Sierra, at which she takes great offense. She tries to argue with him, and starts to bear a major grudge towards the Quilava. She then blurts out a comment about Rose being Torch's girlfriend, which she meant to offend Torch. However, because Torch really has begun to love Rose as much as Rose loves him, he is drawn closer to Rose. Finally, Denki zaps Rose and Skyribbon, drawing their souls back into their respective bodies. As Rose and Skyribbon wake up, a Murkrow named Aya and a Plusle named Pirun join the group. Sierra takes an immediate dislike to Pirun, and starts kicking him. Ryu decides that he doesn't like Sierra and attacks her, while Aisu rescues Pirun. Meanwhile, feeling suspicious of Hidden, Denki sends Aya to go spy on the Vulpix. To Aya's horror, Hidden appears to be speaking to the scientist through a radio headset, though reluctantly. While Sierra apologizes to Pirun, Aya shares what she found out with Koumori, Rukoto, and Denki. Meanwhile, Torch and Rose finally confess their feelings for each other, establishing a relationship. Part 8: Great Confrontation Posts: #1232 - #1334 Denki warns them that Hidden appears to be working for the scientist. Before any of them can attack Hidden, however, a giant controlled Snorlax smashes through the wall of the food storage room. While the others chase off the massive beast, Rose confronts Hidden to find out why the albino Vulpix was helping the scientist; Hidden explains that she was forced to do so, and then flees. Meanwhile, the backup guard arrives in the storage room as the Snorlax wanders off and burrows into the food supplies. Blaze and his gang reenter the room and attack Rose, prompting Torch to run to her defense. Mokomo and Aya return from the air vents to encounter an old rival, Glacia the Glaceon. Komachi, her siblings, and Rukoto run into Rukoto's old pack. Zangoose who killed Komachi's parents. King and Flower run into the Buizel and the Croconaw who captured them. Moon and her siblings encounter the Floatzel who captured Volt and Bikkuri, who they fight with Denki's help. Sierra is attacked by a Sableye. Koumori and Skyribbon run into the Moltres that Miles had once saved Skyribbon from. Unable to bear watching her friends fighting the villains she had summoned, a guilt-wracked Hidden tries to flee the room, and comes face-to-face with her mother Crystal, a Delcatty. Meanwhile, a long-horned Absol named Lute runs into the room, being pursued by a sadistic Ditto. Lute goes to Skyribbon to find out what is going on. Though Lute first come off as clueless, he quickly picks up on the facts and joins Skyribbon and Koumori against the Moltres. Meanwhile, Moon and Denki finish off the Glaceon, while Komachi and Rukoto kill the zangoose. Ryu fights against a Nidoking, but recieves a near-fatal wound, only to be saved by Moon. As Sierra defeats the Sableye, she runs to help Rose and Torch against their enemies. Aisu returns just as Lute and Koumori are both about to attack the Moltres. Not wanting to lose the closest thing to family that she has, Aisu protects the Moltres from Lute's and Koumori's attacks. The Moltres continues to attack Skyribbon, resulting in a thick toxic fog which Skyribbon absorbs to power up a Seed Flare. The Moltres then attacks Aisu. Lute leaps up and stabs the Moltres, saving Aisu. However, Aisu does not see the Moltres attack her, blows a hole in the roof, and flies off. Around this time, the sadistic Ditto attacks Lute again, but is destroyed as Skyribbon releases her Seed Flare upon it. Torch notices a blue Eevee with red eyes named Takoshi and a shiny Leafeon named Orangeleaf arrive in the room. Mistaking Takoshi for a controlled Pokemon (as anyone would), Torch confronts Takoshi. Takoshi makes a few idotic remarks, and is reprieved by Orangeleaf. As Aisu blasts through the roof, she accidentally sends an Eevee named Thalia tumbling to the gorund. After collecting her senses, she runs into Moon, Denki, Volt, and Bikkuri. Meanwhile, Sierra begins to feel isolated and outcast. She approaches Skyribbon, who is explaining to Lute why they are all here. Moon and Denki begin to fall in love. With everyones' personal battles now complete, Torch and Rose decide that it is finally time to fight the evil scientist, Aramos, once and for all. They open the giant door behind which Aramos waits, and lead the group- except for Ryu, whose is too weak from the poison to go on- onwards into their final battle. Last Part: Final Showdown Posts: #1335 - Torch and Rose enter Aramos' chamber to find him manipulating the controls of a new machine. Torch and Aramos confront each other one last time, trainer against Pokemon. Then Aramos uses his machine to turn himself into an Arceus just as Lute, Moon, Denki, Komachi, Aya, and several others enter the room. As each Pokemon attacks the Madman, Aramos/Arceus taunts him or her about the struggles, fears, and failures of their lives: How easily Torch could lose his true love Rose forever, how Rose's brother Scorch could not have emotions, how Sierra's parents did to save her, how foolishly Takoshi and Orangeleaf acted, how Lute was really just an old experiment of Aramos', how weak Thalia was as an Eevee, etc. Lute comes across the body of his foster father, a Raikou. Thalia evolves into a Leafeon. Rose is shown a vial of golden fluid containing Scorch's soul, which Denki steals. As Denki steals the vial, it shatters and brings Scorch's soul into the Pachirisu's body, while Denki's soul is transferred into Scorch's body. Denki-as-Scorch runs over to the machine which turned Aramos into an Arceus. Knowing that he can't destroy the machine, Denki-as-Scorch tries to shut it down. Lute runs over to Denki-as-Scorch to help him. As the great battle drags on, Aramos summons twelve Plates to empower him. Torch accidentally takes the Flame Plate, which infuriates Aramos. Noticing Aramos' reaction, the others start stealing each of the "stones". Thalia takes the Meadow Plate, Komachi takes the Mind Plate, Rukoto takes the Zap Plate, Moon takes the Dread Plate, Sierra takes the Sky Plate and then evolves into a Charizard, and Lute takes the Spooky Plate. Lute brings the Spooky Plate to Denki-as-Scorch and suggests that they hook up the Plate to the machine. Denki-as-Scorch does so, and an aural inbalance causes Aramos to turn into a human for the slightest second. Thalia sees this, and is about to bring the meadow plate to Lute and Denki. Aramos, enraged, unleashes a massive barrage of hyper beams in all directions. Thalia is sent flying back into the wall, dropping the Meadow Plate. Aramos is about to finish her off when Sparktail the Pikachu, who wasn't brainwashed or captured after all, attacks Aramos. Scorch-as-Denki jumps onto Sierra's back with the intent of attacking Aramos from above. However, Aramos fires a Hyper Beam, nearly knocking him off. Meanwhile, Lute accidentally touches a one of the machine parts, which implant all of Aramos' memories in his own. Meanwhile, Orangeleaf and more members of her clan have joined the battle, though they make no attempts at any of the Plates. Koumori and Skyribbon tire of waiting for Aisu to return and enter the battle. Skyribbon fetches Scorch-as-Denki and brings him back to the ground. Koumori steals the Toxic Plate, but is wounded. Meanwhile, Thalia retrieves the Meadow Plate and goes to put it in the machine, while Lute runs the other direction to attack Aramos again. Aisu returns and steals the Icicle Plate, the spirit of her mother at her side. Aramos sends the last of the collar-dittos at Lute, who destroys it before realizing what it is. Lute grabs the Draco Plate while Aya and Mokomo grab the Fist Plate. Sierra makes another attempt at a Plate, only to be weighed down by the two Plates. Skyribbon goes to help Koumori, while Scorch-as-Denki goes to help Sierra. Thalia takes the Iron Plate from Sierra, having left the Meadow Plate at the machine. Komachi's siblings, Tsume and Komatsu, both step in and grab the Splash and Earth Plates respectively. Scorch-as-Denki grabs the Insect Plate, while Denki-as-Scorch grabs the final Plate, the Stone Plate. With all of Aramos' plates gone, Denki's and Scorch's souls return to their respective bodies, as Aramos fires Judgement. All of the Pokemon carrying Plates run to the machine and connect their Plates to the machine, disrupting the Arceus' attack. Torch then gives the final order to attack the now-mortal Aramos. All of the Pokemon surround Arceus and unleash their ultimate attacks upon the evil scientist, finally killing him. With their task fulfilled, Skyribbon, Rose, Torch, Scorch, Denki, Moon, Volt, Bikkuri, Koumori, Sierra, Komachi, Tsume, Komatsu, Aisu, Aya, Mokomo, Rukoto, Lute, Sparktail, Thalia, Orangeleaf, and all of the freed captives celebrate the Madman's fall, and walk off into a blazing sunset. The end. |
