Because I'm a music major, I'm required to take Music Theory. This semester, I'm in Music Theory 2, and every semester, we have to compose a piece as a final project.

For my composition, I composed for euphonium with piano accompaniment. There are several things from the class that we have to incorporate into the piece, such as passing and pedal 6/4 chords, as well as various types of cadences.

I'm really happy with how this turned out. The recording isn't the best, because my laptop messed up, and some human error in performing. One of my friends was playing the piano part for me, and I played euphonium.

Title explanation: Arlecchino is Italian for harlequin. I thought that the piece sounded like a street performer or a court jester, and liked the word harlequin.
