Kurt Vonnegut is an author from Indianapolis, Indiana. Thursday and Friday of last week, I read a book of his called Slaughterhouse-Five, which was excellent (in my opinion). I would recommend this book, at least. I intend to read more.

If any of you have read any of his books, what did you think?

According to the Wikipedia article, his genres are satire, black comedy, and science fiction. Those sort of apply to Slaughterhouse-Five. Yes, I think I'd agree with those. But I don't know if I would really have called it science fiction. There certainly were a few examples of irony. He's hard to define, I think. Slaughterhouse-Five was, I believe, sort of a reflective, anti-war book that wasn't really anti-war.

In short, he's hard to classify based on what I've read.
