Writer's Guild

Starting off as a joke when Groups were first announced, the Writer's Guild is designed to be a place where anyone with the drive to write can show off their works, ask for any constructive criticism, find helpful writing tips, etc... etc... This shall also include Role-Players if people like as Role-Playing is also a form of writing.

From time to time, there may be mini-writing assignments and contests held for the amusement of the members.

As an official group, the Writer's Guild has a special privilege to have works showcased on The Evening Apricorn when it is released. If you're interested, feel free to join and have fun writing.

Salutations to one and to all. Group Coordinator here.

For the last (and the first) news post to be in December, it's almost been a year. How very....

Well, dead.

Assignments are boring; I don't know what possessed me to think they would incite activity of any sort, especially since there is no merit to accomplishing these assignments. So of course, we can put those aside for good.

That aside, I think Katadm should have it so that when people first post in response to these news posts in groups, the person who wrote the news post gets notified. That'd be easier for me.

There should probably be some writing activities and events that I may suggest, but of course, will not be imperative to the members of this group. As to what that is, I'll figure it out when I have more time.

So let's find something else to keep your minds busy.

Does this count as advertising? I don't know; it might, so I will only suggest it. November signals the start of NaNoWriMo. I won't get too much into it, but pretty much, it's an 'event' that happens annually where people have the entire month of November to reach a 50,000 word mark for a story.

That's basically it. The 'details' can be found on the site so you should check it out if you're an avid writer, want a challenge, and have the time.

Mm, it's 1:26 AM. I'll edit this if I find it necessary.

I'm going to read.
