My first game was Crystal and later went back and bought with my own money as a 6 year old and got silver because i loved crystal soo much

You just described the same exact thing I did. I received gold for my birthday all those days ago... then got blue later after i got angry that I couldn't finish my pokedex without the older version.

Played it when I was four when I got my Gameboy Color. Still have the cartridge and the GBC... I know what I'm doing for the rest of the week.

Emerald.

I remember seeing Destiny Deoxys at the club and I wanted to play the game, I think it was written at back of it or something like that. Even if I knew the first generation, I didn't knew there was games until I played Emerald and then, saw FireRed who was one of the remakes of the old ones.
