Today at work a customer put their card on the counter instead of handing it to me and honestly I was just like but...why.... I even reached my hand out to you... *struggles to pick up card*

but I'm so friendly to everyone at work :( JK, but the thing is I don't even touch them LOL all they have to do...is hand me the card...and I will just take the other end of the card... and never come in physical contact with them.

For me it's okay if they're trying to count out their change (as long as we're not too busy because we have only one register and froyo melts in the heat) but when it looks like they're going to put it in your hand ONLY TO TOSS IT ON THE COUNTER I'm just like, ".....but why"

right or when they stand there and keep holding the card to you although you obviously are still ringing them up

IKR? the other day I had a customer just place his card on the register because I guess he got tired of holding it up to me while I was ringing him up, but I didn't see so when I looked at him confusedly for the card he just stared back impatiently and I was like ??????? WHERE IS THE CARD
